Nationwide Shipping & Delivery

We ship wildlife food products throughout the United Kingdom using DPD, Evri, DHL and other trusted couriers.

Because wildlife feed is heavy and dense, delivery prices are based on parcel weight and UK delivery zone.
This ensures accurate, fair courier pricing for every order.

How Delivery Costs Are Calculated

Shipping is calculated automatically at checkout based on:

  • Total order weight

  • Number of parcels required

  • Delivery postcode

  • Courier zone classification

You will always see the exact delivery cost before payment.

Weight Bands

Our courier pricing follows standard parcel weight bands commonly used for wildlife feed shipments:

  • Up to 2 kg

  • 2–10 kg

  • 10–20 kg

  • 20–25 kg

  • 25–30 kg

  • 30 kg+ (multi-parcel consignments)

If your order exceeds a single parcel limit, it will ship as multiple parcels.
Checkout automatically combines the correct courier charges.

This is standard for wildlife feed deliveries and ensures safe transport.

Remote & Offshore Delivery Surcharges

Some UK regions incur additional courier surcharges due to distance, sea transport, or limited delivery routes.
These surcharges are set by the carriers and are outside our control.

Northern Ireland & Isles of Scilly

A minimum carrier surcharge applies to deliveries to:

  • Northern Ireland

  • Isles of Scilly (TR21–TR25)

Surcharge: £5.00 (Northern Ireland)
Surcharge: £12.50 (Isles of Scilly)

If your order value is under £30.00, this surcharge is applied in addition to the standard £3.95 delivery charge.

UK Offshore & Remote Postcodes

A minimum carrier surcharge of £7.50 applies to the following postcode areas:

GY, HS, IM, IV41–IV51, IV55–IV56, JE, KA27–KA28,
KW15–KW17, PA20, PA41–PA49, PA60–PA78,
PH42–PH44, PH60, ZE

If your order value is under £30.00, this surcharge is applied in addition to the £3.95 delivery charge.

Heavyweight Orders to Remote Areas

For deliveries to the above remote and offshore regions:

Orders exceeding 20 kg incur an additional carrier charge of
£0.10 per kg above 20 kg.

This is a courier-imposed weight surcharge applied to heavy consignments destined for remote UK locations.

How Surcharges Are Applied

  • Surcharges are automatically calculated at checkout

  • Based on delivery postcode and total parcel weight

  • Displayed clearly before payment

We do not add handling fees — these charges come directly from the delivery carriers.

We appreciate your understanding that transporting heavy wildlife feed to remote and island communities involves significantly higher logistics costs than mainland UK delivery.

Packaging

At the Wildlife Food Company, we are incredibly passionate about our footprint as a company and as individuals. We are aiming to reduce van delivery miles, where possible, and reduce unnecessary use of certain products, where possible.

One area that was incredibly important to us is the global use of plastic packaging and the effect that plastic is having on our planet. We don't knowingly use any plastic in the packaging of our products and as a result of this, the paper and cardboard packaging that we do use can be prone to issues in wet weather. So if you are not scheduled to be in when your delivery arrives, please ensure there is somewhere out of the weather where our driver can safely leave it.
